I love the TV program Coast. I'm not sure if it's just because I live by the coast but I love to learn about our history and connection to the sea. So imagine my delight when I get a call asking if I would like to photograph the presenters of the show and spend the day on the tall ship Pelican. Would I? I got up at dawn and joined the ship at Weymouth. Before we set off I photographed Neil Oliver and Tessa Dunlop on the Quayside in front of the ship. So my work was pretty much done before we set off. I got to watch and photograph the filming and see the drone operators at work. It was a fantastic experience and can't wait to see the episode when it comes out.
